About Moya

Meet Moya George

A UK-born printmaker and graphic designer, who found new inspiration after relocating to Western Australia in 2017. The rich textures of this land — its native flora, striking landscapes, and vibrant culture — sparked a creative renewal that’s shaped my artistic path ever since.

Following the birth of my second daughter, I experienced the profound highs and lows of motherhood. In seeking something that was just mine, I returned to my roots in illustration and printmaking — rediscovering the joy of drawing and the tactile beauty of linocut techniques. This personal revival led me to my passion in creating bold, expressive artwork inspired by Western Australia's native plants.

My prints are initially sketched by hand then transferred onto a carving surface. It is then carefully and painstakingly carved by hand onto the surface, rolled with ink and hand printed onto paper for the final images. Celebrating the textures, imperfections and honesty of traditional printmaking, meaning each print is unique.

As well as hand made prints, 2025 saw the launch of my first tea towel collection, blending botanical motifs with vibrant colour to bring a fresh energy to everyday homewares.

I love to bring a bold splash of artistry to the everyday, blending traditional linocut printing techniques with contemporary flair—creating vibrant, eye-catching designs for modern homes.

Designed with heart. Inspired by the wild.
